A Reminder to Pray for our Troops

While watching it again today I am reminded that two CrossPointers and a CrossPoint guest family will be leaving for Iraq in early June. Please remember to pray for CrossPointers Todd (Pam) Jerrell and Joseph Fulmer (Gina) Fulmer and for a CrossPoint guest Bryan (Jenni) Sparks.
Before leaving today’s blog, watch the video one more time. The second time through was more inspiring for me than the first.

As we go through our daily routines it's easy to forget that there are men and women all over the world protecting our freedom. While we enjoy a comfortable bed, they sleep on the ground. While we enjoy a home cooked meal or a trip to our favorite restaurant, they eat meals out of a trilaminate pouch containing exactly 1200 calories. While we casually drive to/from work or our favorite shopping center, they drive pock-marked Humvees hoping to avoid roadside bombs and snipers firing armor-piercing rounds. While enjoy the simple convenience of running water, some of our soldiers have to worry if they'll be hit by an RPG using a port-o-potty.
We can never say it enough...THANK YOU!
